Discount Codes Object

The Discount Codes object in CommercePro replaces the current Coupons in WooCommerce. We developed the discount code functionality to cater to a wide range of uses and conditional rules.

Key features

  • Discounts can be limited to use by individual, nominated contacts, all contacts, or contacts associated with a company
  • Discounts can be applied to a product, products or to the entire cart
  • Usage limits can be configured in a number of different ways, including overall limit by number, locked to a single use by a contact, and also limited to a specific number of items in the cart
  • Associations with other HubSpot Objects

About section

  • Object create date shows when the discount code was created
  • Discount Code is the actual code that a user would use to redeem the code at cart
  • Description is a field for internal reference
  • Discount amount fixed discount is a dollar value (Eg. $100)
  • Discount amount percentage discount is a number value used as a percentage discount (Eg. 50)
  • Item limit per cart is the number of items of the allowed type in a cart this discount applies to (Eg. if the cart has 5 apples and the limit is 2 then 2 apples will be discounted, and 3 will be at full price)
  • Usage limit is the overall number of uses available (Eg. 1 for single use, 0 or blank for unlimited)
  • Single use per contact is a drop down that governs if a contact can only use the coupon once in the case of a multi-use coupon
